Gilded Sea is a small 3x5 encaustic painting on wood panel created by artist Carrie Hullar. The paint and medium used for this painting was created using a dry pigment powder along with beeswax and damar resign. A special technique, known as shellac burning, was used to create the gold lacing. This cute little abstract piece 3x5 inch comes with its’ own little easel for display. Also available as 5x7 or 8x10 print upon request.
